The company actively cultivates partnerships
with suppliers that can help us maintain leadership in materials science. For
example, the company has collaborated on several projects with developers of
specialty gels. These can be solid gels which are used in combination with a
film formed surrounding or non-solid gels which require an air-free bladder
enclosure for optimal functionality. We have commercialized several orthopedic devices using gel materials. Our inflation technology can be used in combination with the gel technology to achieve optimal customization, fit, and comfort. |
