Client Requirements:
Client wished to make a CPAP mask that self-fit to each patient's face.
Solutions:
3D RF welding technology was used to build a nominal nasal profile shape that further adjusts with air pressure, controlled with an integrated pump.
New Thinking:
The FlexAire is a new thinking in mask development. Most masks require the user to turn the CPAP device on before putting on their mask, so the mask fills with air to seal. The FlexAire is different, it's revolutionary air-filled foam bladder means the CPAP device does not need to be on. Once correctly attached to the face, press the pump a couple of times and the cushion will inflate to give a perfect seal
