U.S. Manufacturing

Our domestic manufacturing is contained within a 130,000 sq. ft. facility in Western Massachusetts and offers three environments for manufacturing: Class 10,000 and Class 100,000 clean rooms, and a general manufacturing area. At this facility, we primarily fabricate OEM medical products and components made from thermoplastic. Our specialty is flexible thermoplastic films, film/fabric laminates, and gels.

Most of the products we make involve some type of thermoplastic bonding/welding operation, accomplished with radio frequency, thermal, impulse, or ultrasonic equipment. We also thermoform, C+C/die cut, spot laminate, and perform auxiliary processes such as printing, bonding, sewing, assembly, final packaging, and fulfillment. We typically provide full project management, including supply chain management of third party components (off-the-shelf and custom materials).

A pilot production room is dedicated to short-run manufacturing and commercialization projects. The room has dedicated equipment and staff that expedite launch activities.

Our two independent prototyping laboratories are each equipped with machines that are essentially stripped-down versions of production machines. Within these labs we can reproduce production-quality components in very low volumes. Run independently, the labs do not compete with production for resources. They can be closed off for either cleanliness or secrecy reasons.

The facility is certified to 13485: 2003 and 9001:2000.
